I switched to Mozilla and it worked fine (although the download window appeared behind others, so my first reaction was that it had also failed).

FYI - my IE settings already matched those that you suggested ... so I'll kick off another recording and try again with IE to see if I can work out what happened now that I have seen how it is supposed to work.
