Extrem langsamer Download

Bin beruflich für einige Jahre in den USA - anfangs klappte das Downloaden auch immer hervorragend - zumindest 150k waren immer drin. Dann war das Downloaden einige Monate nur mit ca. 40 / 26k (schwank ja eh immer etwas) möglich. Nach Weihnachten ging es für zwei Wochen wieder gut und nun fängt das heute wieder an. Woran liegt das, ich meine 5 Stunden und mehr zum Downlaoaden eines Films kann ja eigentlich nicht richtig sein und da fehlt mir dann auf die Geduld. An meinem Provider in den USA kann es auch nicht liegen, da es ja schon richtig gut funktioniert hat. Hat jemand ne Ahnung woran es liegt?

I am so glad I have read your post octavius. It has been driving me nuts the last 2 weeks. Downloading takes 6 hrs for a 1hr show, the highest speed is 26kbs. Before Christmas it was up to over 200kbs at times. I worked on my PC, downloaded speedenhancers, etc. nothing helps. The problem is with OTR. I live in Atlanta, have AT&T extreme DSL and everything else downloads at a normal speed. BTW, I had the same problem last year, wrote to OTR, nothing they wrote back helped. Then a couple of weeks later the problem went away.

BTW I download from OTR direkt. No Mirrors, etc.

Why are you not using the mirrors? It should take no longer then 15 minutes for a 1 hour show at normal speed.

Thanks, bushleit. Today is the first time I used the mirror downloads. Wow, the speeds of downloads is over 300kb's, and I can download more than one Program. From now on I will always use the mirrors. Thanks, again.:D
