Can XBOX 360 play OTR files?

I am looking for a streamer to play the files I download from OTR, and thought about using an XBOX 360 as a streamer i.e. that will play the files over WLAN from my PC.

Will it work?

i used a xb360 to play otr-files. the usual .avi files worked fine! i streamed them from my upnp-server on my NAS.
HQ HD and the MP4-format didnt work. codec issues i think
