flashing border - uswabc

Hi folks,

in all the USWABC movies i recognized this white flashing top border - absolutely anoying.

Does anybody know something against it?
Can't it be avoided somehow?

You could crop the video on playback using VLC.

I use a media Center on my beamer for playback. No possibility to crop.

You can check if your beamer offers an overscan option in the picture settings - which is basicly the same like cropping. I know my Sanyo beamer has it.

I've got a Samyo beamer as well. Can you tell me where you found this setting?

Menu button on remote > Image Adjust Menu > Advanced Menu > Overscan

A zero means nothing gets cut off. Increase the number and the flashing border gets cropped.

Unfortunately i can't find the damd remote since months. But a ladder will help anyway.
